Being centred around raising funds for Dartmoor National Park my focus for this project was to create a atmospheric piece that reflected some of the lore local to the moors. Drawing on tales of 'dark beasts' that hunt down the sinful I turned to the legends of Whist Hounds prowling their kennels in Wistman's Woods, quite possibly the origin for the fabled 'Beast of Dartmoor'. Ancient oak trees block out light from the full moon, spirits and hounds illuminating the wild, lichen covered boulders below in a ghostly glow.
